Notary services are not just for individuals. Hamilton businesses of all sizes regularly need documents commissioned, copies certified or signatures witnessed, and often for several people at once. Crown Seal Notary works with local employers, property managers and professional offices.

Common business requests

  • Statutory declarations for insurance, benefits or regulatory filings;
  • certified true copies of corporate records, licences and certificates;
  • notarized documents for use abroad, including documents that will go on to be apostilled or authenticated;
  • affidavits supporting business disputes or tribunal matters;
  • identity verification for signers who must appear before a notary.

On-site visits

If several employees or directors need to sign, it is often easier for us to come to you. Our mobile service can visit your office or boardroom in Hamilton and the surrounding area, including on weekends. Travel fees apply based on distance.

How to prepare

  1. Send us a list of the documents and the number of signers when you book.
  2. Make sure each signer has valid government-issued photo ID.
  3. Keep documents unsigned until the appointment.
  4. If a document is going abroad, confirm the destination’s requirements first.

What we don’t do

We provide notarization and commissioning only. We don’t draft contracts or give legal or corporate advice. Your lawyer or advisor should prepare the documents.
