Our Approach

We recognize that managing time-sensitive legal files around a demanding work week or emergency closing deadline is incredibly stressful.
Crown Seal Notary adapts completely to your schedule by utilizing a highly responsive, dual-delivery service model:

Pathway 1: Premium Mobile Notary Services

If your documents require traditional physical "wet-ink" signatures and embossed corporate seals, our traveling units drive directly to you.
We conduct secure, compliant, and confidential signing sessions at your convenience, meeting you at your:

-Private Residence or Estate
-Corporate Office or Boardroom
-Local Hospital,
-Care Home, or Retirement Residence
-Local Campus (McMaster University & Mohawk College) or Coffee Shop

Pathway 2: Secure Remote Online

Commissioning If the receiving institution accepts digital documentation, we can finalize your paperwork in under 10 minutes via our secure video room.
You can securely upload your unsigned files, verify your identity digitally, and receive a cryptographically sealed PDF back into your inbox instantly.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is remote online commissioning permanently legal in Ontario?

Yes. Under Ontario Regulation 431/20 of the Commissioners for Taking Affidavits Act, remote online commissioning is entirely legal, permanent, and fully recognized by Ontario ministries, courts, insurance companies, and financial institutions.

What identification do I need to present to the notary?

To comply with anti-fraud guidelines, you must present valid, unexpired government-issued photo identification (such as a Passport, Driver’s Licence, Ontario Photo Card, or PR Card). Your name on the identification must match the name written on your legal document.

Do I need to sign my documents before our appointment?

No. Absolutely not. You must leave all date fields and signature lines completely blank. The law mandates that a Notary Public or Commissioner of Oaths must actively witness you executing your signature live—either physically in person or digitally over a secure video conference.

Can you help me if my document is leaving Canada?

Yes. Documents destined for international use typically undergo the Apostille process. Because foreign consulates and global authorities reject electronic signatures, we will arrange a physical mobile appointment to provide traditional ink-pressed stamps and physical signatures.
